August 9 - 11 Fishing Report

Update on fishing over the last few days!

Wahoo continue to bite offshore. We've been seeing a few thrown on the dock each day including yesterday's monster Wahoo weighing in at 82 lbs! Other offshore bites have included Blackfin Tuna, Albacore, Barracuda, a few scattered Dolphin, and Amberjack. Bottom fishing has brought in Triggerfish, Tilefish, Grouper, and Rockfish.

Inshore bites have consisted mainly of Speckled and Gray Trout, and a few Red Drum.

We've also had reports of Sea Mullet being caught off the beach at Ramp 55.

8/11 CITATIONS:

Rob Rubano caught a 54 lb Wahoo.

Kent Winquist caught an 82 lb Wahoo.

William McBride released a Barracuda measuring 50 inches.
