Some islanders fish for a living, some islanders fish for fun, some islanders sell fish in their restaurants and some islanders prepare bountiful fish-rich meals for their families. One thing is for sure, the various Hatteras Island fisheries have an impact on those who are blessed to call this place their home and we love sharing them with our friends and neighbors. We are Catching Fish and Lots of them.  When the Guys can get over the Bar, the Wahoo has been as good as it Gets.  Dolphin Turned Back on with Limits and Near Limits of Dolphin.  Bottom Fishing is Always Good and the Clams and Crabs have been Biting as well.  Inshore the Drum Parade Continues...

We had a Gulf Stream fishing charter on the Stormy Petrel II a couple of days ago and battled the seas to get down south to some good fishing. The Wahoo bite was excellent and we we able to hang onto almost of them that we hooked. We also spent a little time bottom fishing to add some diversity...
