Some islanders fish for a living, some islanders fish for fun, some islanders sell fish in their restaurants and some islanders prepare bountiful fish-rich meals for their families. One thing is for sure, the various Hatteras Island fisheries have an impact on those who are blessed to call this place their home and we love sharing them with our friends and neighbors. On Friday, offshore boats brought in plenty of Tuna, some Wahoo, King Mackerel, and a few Dolphin. Bottom fishing brought in Triggerfish, Vermilion Snapper, and Black Seabass.

Inshore boats had good catches of Speckled and Gray Trout, Bluefish, and Red Drum.

Offshore boats had great catches of Tuna on Thursday, as well as a few scattered Dolphin, Wahoo, and Sailfish bites.

Offshore fishing continued to bring in good catches of Tuna on Wednesday. We also saw some Dolphin, Barracuda, Albacore, Wahoo, and Amberjack, along with a few Sailfish citations.

Inshore boats continued to do well with Red Drum, Speckled Trout, and Bluefish.

We saw a good catch of Blackfin Tuna across the board on Tuesday as well as some scattered Dolphin and King Mackerel. Inshore boats brought in Red Drum, good-sized Bluefish, and Speckled Trout.

Harper's Folly Fishing Teach's Lair

Offshore fishing was good on Saturday with boats bringing in Tuna, Albacore, Wahoo, Barracuda, and King Mackerel, along with some Sailfish bites.

Inshore we saw Speckled Trout, Red Drum, and Bluefish.

Sailfish Hatteras Offshore Fishing Harper's Folly Teach's Lair

On Friday we saw good catches of Tuna, a few Dolphin and False Albacore, Barracuda, and Sailfish.

Inshore boats continue to bring in Red Drum, Speckled Trout, and Bluefish.

Offshore fishing on Thursday continued to bring in good catches of Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo, and Sailfish.

Inshore we saw Red Drum, Bluefish, and Speckled Trout.

On Wednesday we saw calmer waters offshore and good amounts of Blackfin Tuna, a few Yellowfin, some Dolphin, Sailfish, and Wahoo.

We saw some great offshore fishing on Tuesday with boats bringing in plenty of Blackfin Tuna as well as some Yellowfin.

Inshore we saw good catches of Red Drum, Bluefish, and Speckled Trout.
