GREAT Wahoo Catching Today!!!!!!! With a Side of Striper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First off I would like to Thank EVERYONE at Day at the Docks for all their Generosity. It was a Great Event and we Appreciate what you all do for Hatteras Village. I sat in at the Hatteras Island Cancer Foundation to sell raffle Tickets for the Custom Rods we Built and I had more FUN than should be allowed. Again Thank You VERY VERY Much.
Part of Day at the Docks is a Kids Fishing Tournament which for me is the Highlight, I love to see everyone having FUN and Catching Fish. We had a lot of our Teach's Lair Family present and Fishing and they Did us Proud. Charlotte Daniels (Captain Jay Daniels of the Runaway) took First Place in Her Division. But that's Not All, Bankx Nelson (First Mate Derek Nelson's Son) took Second in his Division. Boy You guys made us So Proud.. Way to pass it on to the Next Generation. Below is the Winners and their Prizes... We had 124 kids fishing - most ever 21 different businesses made donations of prizes, Tournament is FREE for all Children.

The Wahoo Bite has been Phenomenal as you all can tell from the Pictures, mixed in with the Wahoo's have been YellowFin Tuna and BlackFin Tuna. Inshore we are Beatin on that DRUM everyday and every size.. There are also Trout of Both kinds.. Blues and Spanish on the Troll. Beach a little of everything, Blues, Pompano, Sea Mullets Pups and Flounders..
